This advanced hacker-friendly display is 2.8" diagonal with 16-bit full-colorRGB666 540x540 pixels. Its IPS technology renders brilliant colors up to an impressive 80 degrees off-axis.

The ST7701S TFT driver offers both SPI and TTL RGB 'dot clock' data input. Note that SPI is only applicable for configuration, not for drawing pixels. It's important to note that, despite the 40-pin connector, the display does not use the same pinout as other 800x480 (4.3", 5" or 7") or 480x272 (4.3") models. This is a unique and distinct display.

Achieving vibrant illumination requires a microcontroller that supports TTL RGB TFT driving, such as the ESP32-S3 with octal PSRAM, or a computer like a Raspberry Pi with either direct DPI or ICN6211 chip connection. Neither option is compatible with an Arduino or Feather microcontroller.

This display does not have a touchscreen. This is just the display module. No PCB is included.

You cannot use these with an every day microcontroller unless it specifically has support for RGB-666 displays so please do not purchase unless you know for sure that it can plug into a driver board with the correct pinout as well.
